Duduk DAM

The "DAM" Duduk is the continuous single note played underneath a Duduk piece, played by a second Duduk player using circular breathing.

Practicing Duduk scales over a Dam tone is very important in learning the importance of the scale degrees of the modes used by the Duduk, and Middle Eastern Music.

This app allows you to practice with one of the six main tones used for Duduk (G# is not a common key center or used in the main "Mugham" modes on the Duduk).

Tap once for Duduk, and a second time for a Deeper Synth tone. Practice with headphones or speakers is recommended.

Currently the tones provided are for use with the standard Duduk (Tenor Duduk in A), which is the most common Duduk. Future versions will allow for the differently tuned Duduks like Duduk in G & Duduk in C.
